Shelby has served the beach communities of 30A, Destin and the Emerald Coast as a leader in the Hospitality and Luxury Vacation Rental Industry for nearly twenty years. During that time, she has become immersed in the local community through her volunteer efforts and love for the destination. Her extensive local knowledge is a tremendous resource for anyone looking to relocate or invest in residential real estate along the coast.

 

Shelby is known as a customer-focused sales professional who is committed to delivering the highest level of service. She attributes her successful career to the relationships she has built along the way. Shelby’s dedication to meeting client goals is founded upon her belief in the importance of building trust through open and honest communication.

Prior to joining The Beach Group as a full-time Real Estate Agent, Shelby served as Director of Sales for St. Joe Hospitality where she led sales efforts for corporate meetings, events, and weddings for The Pearl, WaterColor Inn, and WaterSound Beach Club and as Director of Business Development, overseeing the luxury vacation rental program for its earlier collection of 300-plus homes within numerous beachside communities along the Emerald Coast.

 

Shelby was instrumental in the early development of The Pearl, a boutique 55-room property located in Rosemary Beach where she oversaw all sales and marketing activities for the hotel and served as a key member of the pre-opening Executive Leadership team prior to the hotel’s debut in August 2013.

 

Her previous sales experience extends further up the coast to Destin, Florida, where she served as Director of Sales for Russell Vacation Rentals, and as Group Sales Manager for Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and The Hilton Sandestin, where she earned recognition on Connect Meetings Intelligence’s inaugural “Top 40 Under 40” list of industry leaders in 2011.

 

Shelby currently lives in Blue Mountain Beach where she shares a home with Justin and their dog Jeremy. She believes the best way to experience our unique beach community is by bike, board, or boat so you will often see her on the 30A bike path, paddling on Western Lake, or fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
